Teams (between grades 4-8) from the USA and Canada are invited to participate in the multi-day event that includes 8 rounds of competition and fun on-site events.

The entry fee is USD $100/team. The 2014 Champions will take home USD $10,000, plus the Champions Trophy, a certificate from the Scrabble Jewelry line and a great selection of Hasbro games.

Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms of Service

Mind Sports International (MSI) provides event and entertainment services to groups and individuals, subject to the following Terms of Service ("TOS"), which may be updated by MSI from time to time without notice. Written copies are available at each event on request.

Notice of changes to the TOS or other matters may be made by displaying such notices at events or by providing such notices to you directly. In addition, when using particular MSI services, you agree to abide by the MSI TOS and any other guides or rules which may be posted by MSI from time to time. All such guides and rules are hereby incorporated by reference into the TOS. Where any inconsistency exists between the TOS and any guide or rule, the TOS will prevail.

2. Description of Service

MSI provides events and entertainment services to a variety of audiences either through events and direct bookings in the UK, USA, Europe and Asia.

3. Your Registration Obligations

In consideration of your use of the Service, you agree to provide true, accurate, current and complete information about yourself as prompted by the Service's registration form (such information being the "Registration Data"). If you provide any information that is untrue, inaccurate, not current or incomplete or MSI has reasonable grounds to suspect that such information is untrue, inaccurate, not current or incomplete, MSI has the right to suspend, terminate or refuse any and all current or future use of the Service (or any portion thereof) by you.

5. Your Conduct

You are fully responsible for all your activities whilst using the Service. You agree to notify MSI immediately of any unauthorised use. MSI cannot and will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to comply with the provisions contained in this section. You acknowledge that all information, data, text, software, music, sound, photographs, graphics, video, messages and other materials ("Content"), whether publicly posted or privately transmitted, are the sole responsibility of the person from which such Content originated. This means that you and not MSI are entirely responsible for all Content that you upload, post, email or otherwise transmit via the Service. MSI does not control the Content posted via the Service and, as such, does not guarantee the accuracy, integrity or quality of such Content. You acknowledge that by using the Service, you may be exposed to Content that is offensive, indecent or objectionable. You grant MSI permission to run manual and/or automatic systems, at its absolute discretion, to determine compliance with and to enforce the TOS and accept that this limited access to and monitoring of your computer is warranted and lawful. You acknowledge that the technical processing and transmission of the Service, including Content, may involve transmissions over various networks and changes to conform and adapt to technical requirements of connecting networks or devices. MSI reserves the right at any time and from time to time to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, the Service (or any part thereof) with or without notice. You agree that MSI shall not be liable to you or to any third party for any modification, suspension or discontinuance of the Service.

You agree that MSI in its sole discretion, may terminate your use of the Service, and remove and discard any Content within the Service, for any reason, including, without limitation, if MSI believes that you have violated or acted inconsistently with the letter or spirit of the TOS. MSI may also in its sole discretion and at any time discontinue providing the Service, or any part thereof, with or without notice. You agree that any termination of your access to the Service under any provision of this TOS may be effected without prior notice. Further, you agree that MSI shall not be liable to you or any third-party for any termination of your access to the Service.

14. Dealings with Event Sponsors and Other Merchants

MSI may enter into agreements with others ("Event Sponsors") to provide goods and/or services to various audiences either in conjunction with or to augment the Service. Your correspondence or business dealings with, or participation in promotions of Event Sponsors, (or other merchants contacted via the Service) including payment for and delivery of related goods or services, and any other terms, conditions, warranties or representations associated with such dealings, are solely between you and the Event Sponsors (or other merchant). To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, you agree that: (a) MSI shall not be responsible or liable for any loss or damage of any kind incurred as the result of any such dealings or as the result of the presence of such Event Sponsors and merchants on the Service, and (b) any orders placed by you on, and any product specifications and product availability appearing on, the Service are subject to confirmation by, and the terms and conditions of business of, the relevant Merchant.

You acknowledge and agree that the Service and any necessary software used in connection with the Service ("Software") contain proprietary and confidential information that is protected by applicable intellectual property and other laws. You further acknowledge and agree that Content contained in the Event Sponsors advertisements or information presented to you through the Service is protected by copyrights, trademarks, service marks, patents or other proprietary rights and laws. Except as expressly authorised by MSI or its advertisers, you agree not to modify, rent, lease, loan, sell, distribute or create derivative works based on the Service or the Software, in whole or in part.

You expressly acknowledge and agree that to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law MSI shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential or exemplary damages, including but not limited to, damages for loss of profits, goodwill, use, data or other intangible losses (even if MSI has been advised of the possibility of such damages), resulting from: (i) the use or the inability to use the service; (ii) the cost of procurement of substitute goods and services resulting from any goods, data, information or services purchased or obtained or messages received or transactions entered into through or from the service; (iii) unauthorised access to or alteration of your transmissions or data; (iv) statements or conduct of any third party on the service; or (v) any other matter relating to the service. Nothing in these TOS shall affect the statutory rights of any consumer, exclude or restrict MSI's liability arising from fraud or other criminal action or exclude or restrict any liability for death or personal injury arising from the negligence of MSI.

These TOS (including the guides and rules referred to herein) constitute the entire agreement between you and MSI and govern your use of the Service, superseding any prior agreements between you and MSI. You also may be subject to additional terms and conditions that may apply when you use affiliate services, third-party content or third-party software. The TOS and the relationship between you and MSI shall be governed by the laws of England. You and MSI agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts. Any failure by MSI to exercise or enforce any right or provision of the TOS shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision. This information may be combined with other forms of information to permit us to bring together, in aggregate form, information about the people who use our site. If a player registered to a tournament is under the age of 18, we will replace their first name with its initial.

6.1 When you enter our website, we use your internet protocol ("IP") address to help diagnose problems with our server, to administer our website and to help identify you. We also have the ability to know what type of operating system and browser software you use and to identify the geographical location of your browser. Your IP address is also used by us to gather broad demographic information and other purposes, such as monitoring visitor frequency and to assess which of our pages are the most popular. 6.2 You may be aware that there is a technology called "cookies". This is a file that is transferred from the website to the hard drive of your computer. We use cookies access logging and tracking to track your activities on and to enhance our website. Cookies hold your login information for MSI user accounts or MSI forum accounts and allow the website to recognise your identity whenever you visit us. Mind Sports International Ltd. or third parties, such as partner federations and event organisers, might use your name and country of residence for the purpose of publishing event entry lists from time to time.

10. Registration, Order Forms, Surveys and Contests

10.1 Our registration forms, surveys and competitions ask you to provide us with your contact details, such as name, postal and email addresses. In addition, we need financial information, such as details of your bank account or credit card number when you order from us.

10.2 The information you provide will enable us to provide information about our company to you and to contact you. We will only provide this information where you indicate that you wish to receive further information from us on a regular basis.

11. Telling You What Information We Hold About You

11.1 The Act gives you the right to access information held about you. If you wish to know what information we hold on you, please contact us. Any access request may be subject to a fee of £20 to meet our costs of providing the details of information we hold. We will only send this information to the email address we have on file, unless you send us your postal address and request us to send the information to you at your postal address. 11.2 If you request us to remove your personal information from our database or you wish us to amend or change the information we hold about you on our database, we will remove or amend any such information on your request. 11.3 You may change and modify the information you have previously provided to us by sending an email or writing to us at the address given in paragraph 3.

Hotel Accommodation

MSI on behalf of clients and individuals, secure and reserve hotel nights as part of a package as well as stand alone bookings. This service includes everything including booking room type, extras, taxes etc.

MSI will not be responsible for any incidentals charged to a guest's room unless prior arrangement which has been confirmed in writing to the Company.

All rooms are paid in advance by MSI, therefore any room cancellations must be made no later than 12:00 noon on the day prior to check-in.  If you have to cancel rooms after that point you will be liable for the full amount. All cancellation requests must be made in writing to support@mindsportsinternational.com. Should you require additional rooms prior to departure this can be arranged but may be subject to an increased charge.

The chosen hotel and Living it Loving it are not responsible for any personal property brought into the hotel by guests and remain at all times the individual's responsibility. No weapons of any sort are permitted to be brought by any Individual onto any part of the Hotels property at any time

Tournament Registration

All monies for event registrations must be paid in advance in order for MSI to register players. All registrations must be fully supplied 14 working days prior to the event in order for MSI to complete registrations and to ensure all monies have reached the tournament company

Any players who do not attend their registered event due to any reason and MSI is made aware prior to the event. MSI will be able to obtain a refund but we cannot guarantee this if MSI has not been advised prior to the main event.
